CLARK GRAHAM at Trees Organic Coffee House
It’s raining outside but no one cares because we are all cozy and warm inside Trees Organic Coffee House about to watch Clark Graham perform. Clark is from Chilliwack and comes from a musical family; both of his brothers are also musicians.
Clark’s style is very much storytelling through music which grabs your attention easily with his awesome voice and classic harmonica. He brought a mix of soft songs and some catchy up-tempo songs to the show tonight. “There’s a Place” a song about a place where anything can happen, is one of those up-tempo songs which brought the room alive. “Empty Rooms” was dedicated to Sidney Crosby and why the guy didn’t score (at least in our generation) the best goal we’ve ever seen.
The passion for playing songs, inspired by the likes of Bob Dylan and Neal Young, is evident in his songs. Clark is coming out with a CD this month and I can’t wait to hear it if this show is any indication. He’s moving back to Vancouver, so look out for Clark Graham because he will be around.
So if it’s a rainy day, you’re baking a pie or making soup, or just hanging out relaxing, put on this man’s CD and all the world will melt away.
